The Kenya Water and Sanitation Network (KEWASNET) was founded in August 2007 to enable civil society organizations involved in the Water and Sanitation Sector (WSS) to work in a coordinated manner.
- A national networking body of Kenyan CSO's involved in water and sanitation issues
- Facilitating coordination of Kenyan CSO's/NSA's towards a unified and powerful bargaining voice.
- Influencing public policy formulation, direction & practices in the WSS sector.
- Addressing (internal and external) governance, integrity and accountability issues within and around WSS sector.
- Currently hosted by The Kenya Alliance of Resident Associations (KARA).
