Kenya Water and Sanitation CSO's Network (KEWASNET)

The Kenya Water and Sanitation Network (KEWASNET) was founded in August 2007 to enable civil society organizations involved in the Water and Sanitation Sector (WSS) to work in a coordinated manner.

  • A national networking body of Kenyan CSO's involved in water and sanitation issues
  • Facilitating coordination of Kenyan CSO's/NSA's towards a unified and powerful bargaining voice.
  • Influencing public policy formulation, direction & practices in the WSS sector.
  • Addressing (internal and external) governance, integrity and accountability issues within and around WSS sector.
  • Currently hosted by The Kenya Alliance of Resident Associations (KARA).
